Here we are almost a week later!

A couple shots of the twins – they are getting bigger by the day.

Their favorite thing to do is spring-sproing in the air like little jumping beans – testing out their little legs.

I only give them short times in the yard, as sadly Willie is a terrible father. He bashes them with his horns, as he is insanely jealous.  So, I will have to make a separate meadow for Willie, until he calms down. Right now he is after Rosie, as – well you know – his wife has been pregnant for 3 months – waddya want?

Chile’ Pepper Billie decided he had enough of the bottle and did go to Rosie’s teat by the second day. Hooray! It was soooo much easier than bottle feeding every 4 hours, and when he did that, he got a little pot belly, just like his brother Nicholas.

Spring time is here – and you can always tell when the sheep need to be shorn – Willie I shaved down on Monday, Rosie got shaved on Wednesday. It took me an hour for each sheep. They are used to the electric shear, which are very noisy, and I do not tether them while I clip them. They will stand there, and let me work on them – food helps of course! Their wool was over 8 inches thick, since I sheared them in the beginning of November. As you can see, Willie has become a very big boy – he has filled out even after his illness and near death experience.

Enjoy the pics!

Oxoxo
