Subject: Newest sheep visitor and photos!

Well, these little ones are definitely angels in disguise – it is amazing to see the continued smiles and joy they seem to bring to so many!

I was able to get some anti-biotics on July 5th, and gave little Willie an injection to help boost his immune system from the stressful cross country trip. He had been a little too lethargic and weak for my liking - well – what a change! Within 12 hours – he was much stronger, showing improvement in his energy, appetite and stamina! Yeah!

DeeDee came by for a sheep visit, and left with many smiles – as all visitors seem to do.

She also decided it was time to show "Mommy" with her babies, as mommy was always behind the camera, instead of in front of it! Her babies have bonded well with her, baa whenever she is in sight, and look directly in her eyes when called by name now!

They truly are a joy to be around!

WHO'S NEXT TO VISIT????

Enjoy!

Subject: Name for the farm

I got it – the name just came naturally this evening when I was bedding down the babies- I called Rosie this name – "Sweet Pea".

That's it – it fits – I like sweet peas growing in the garden, with their little curly tendrils and light pink flowers – little tendrils – just like the sheep's wool when it's unshorn……..
Sweet Pea Farm.
It's perfect.

Subject: Sheepies had more visitors on 4th of July!

Boy - these little munchkins are really drawing a crowd!

They are loving every minute of it too – becoming less and less shy each visit!

Liz and her husband Jerry came over today for a visit – and of course – lunch!

Willy didn't eat his breakfast – but he sure did like his lunch and made up for the difference with Liz!

Enjoy!

Subject: second petting zoo experience with my sheep babies!

Well it seems the little sheep babies are a big hit!

They are quickly adapting to their "visitors who carry food"! This was their second time to meet strangers, and they came through with great enthusiasm!

They are quickly becoming very friendly – as I have only had them for 1 week. Little Willie is slowly putting on weight, as he still is showing his ribs and being somewhat slower than miss Piggy Rosie. He is still a little more skittish than Rosie, but is slowly becoming more trusting of people and touch.

All the boys seemed to love feeding them – as their little whiskers are very tickly.

Enjoy!

Subject: Sheeps first petting zoo experience

I sure am happy to have visitors, as I don't get many up this way!

Here are pics from our girlie afternoon, lots of friends stopped by – and the babies first people meeting!

We need to name the farm – any ideas? Here are a few suggestions:
Serenity Hill, Cricket Meadow Farm, Misty Meadow Farm, The Farm at Four Corners, Green Meadow Farm, Sweet Grass Farm, Sweet Grass Hill Farm, - let me know your ideas! I will be making a hanging plaque to put out on the road for the farm with the address.
